Over three full-day, in-person workshops across December 2024, January and February 2025, join Laurel Cohn as she guides you through the next draft of your work-in-progress, demystifying structural editing. Laurel takes participants through her five-step approach to developing your work, providing strategies and tools to facilitate the process, and exploring the challenging inner terrain that underlies critical engagement with your own work.
The course is designed with time between sessions to practice the concepts covered. Committing to the process will reward you with deeper insight into your manuscript and clarity about how to approach the next draft.
As one participant said of the course: ‘I’ve learned so much over the three workshops and you deliver it in a relatable and easily understandable manner, which is quite the feat given the complexity of the content at times. I just wanted to thank you for helping me so much and teaching me skills which I’ll use for the rest of my writing career. ‘
The course has a focus on craft and sustainability; it will be live streamed to an online audience. It is suitable for writers who have completed at least one draft of their work-in-progress.
